Every company in the Flagler HVAC Guide is a sponsor. Here's how listings work, what we do and don't check, and how to choose a company with confidence.
Every listing is a sponsor
The HVAC companies in our directory pay to be listed. Sponsorship is what keeps the Flagler HVAC Guide free for homeowners and allows us to keep publishing helpful local guides.
How listings are arranged
There are two types of listings:
- Featured companies appear at the top of the directory, on the homepage, and beside our guides.
- Directory listings appear below the featured companies.
Within each group, order is based on when a company joined, not on quality, ratings or reviews. A company's position doesn't mean we think it's better than another.
What we don't do
We don't rank, rate, review or endorse any company. We also don't verify the information sponsors provide, such as their services, service areas or highlights like "Licensed & Insured" or "Free Estimates." Those details come from each business.
Our guides are independent
Our guides are written to help Flagler County homeowners, not to promote sponsors. Sponsors have no say in what our guides cover or recommend, and our guides don't point readers to any specific company.
Before you hire any HVAC company
Whether you find a company here or anywhere else, a few simple steps can help:
- Check the license. HVAC contractors in Florida must be licensed by the state. You can look up a license at myfloridalicense.com (opens in a new tab).
- Ask about insurance.
- Get written estimates, ideally from more than one company for larger jobs.
- Read recent reviews from other homeowners.
- Ask about warranties on both the equipment and the workmanship.
- Ask whether a permit is needed, which is typical for system replacements.
