Sponsor Terms
Last updated: October 21, 2026
These Sponsor Terms are an agreement between you, the Sponsor, and Barrett Concepts LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("we," "us," or "our"), which operates the Flagler HVAC Guide (the "Guide"). By purchasing a sponsorship, you agree to these terms.
1. Your sponsorship
A sponsorship gives your business a paid listing in the placement (spot) and tier shown to you before purchase for one 12-month term. Featured placements appear on the homepage, at the top of the directory, and beside each guide. Directory placements appear in the directory below the featured placements.
Each county guide has a limited number of placements. Placements in each tier are assigned in order of reservation. Before you pay, we'll show you the placement available to your business. A placement may change if your listing moves up under Section 5.
Each placement must be for a distinct business with its own business name and Florida contractor license number. A business may hold only one placement per county guide. If we determine that a placement was purchased in violation of this rule, we may remove the listing and refund the purchase.
We clearly disclose on the Guide that listings are paid placements. A paid listing does not mean that we endorse or guarantee the Sponsor or its services.
2. Your term
If you purchase before the Guide's public launch, your 12-month term begins on the public launch date. We will notify you by email when the Guide launches. If the Guide has not publicly launched within 120 days after your purchase, you may cancel and receive a full refund.
If you purchase after the Guide's public launch, your 12-month term begins on your payment date.
3. Pricing and rate guarantee
The rate you pay for your first term will remain available for the first three consecutive 12-month terms, provided you renew each term without interruption. Renewing within the 10-day grace period in Section 4 counts as an uninterrupted renewal.
After those three terms, renewals will be at our then-current rate. We will give you at least 60 days' notice of a rate change before your renewal date.
4. Payment and renewal
Payment is due in full when you purchase or renew a sponsorship. We do not store your payment card or charge you automatically. A renewal occurs only if you choose to renew and pay.
We will send reminders before your renewal date. You have a 10-day grace period after that date to renew and keep your placement. If you do not renew by the end of the grace period, your placement expires and may be offered to another business. A renewal after the grace period may be treated as a new sponsorship at the then-current rate, subject to availability.
5. Your placement and moving up
You keep your placement as long as you renew on time, subject to these terms. If a Sponsor ahead of you in the same tier leaves, your listing will move up automatically.
If a featured placement becomes available, we will offer it to directory Sponsors in order. If you accept, you must pay the difference between the tiers, prorated for the remaining portion of your current term. Your renewal date will not change.
6. Double-booking
Our reservation system is designed to prevent two businesses from purchasing the same placement. If a double-booking occurs, the later purchase will be assigned to the next available placement in the same tier. If no placement is available in that tier, we will refund the later purchase in full.
7. Your listing content
You must provide accurate listing information, which may include your business name, description, services, service areas, highlights, phone number, website, logo, images, and any applicable license, certification, or registration numbers.
You confirm that the information you provide is accurate and not misleading; that any claims, including "Licensed" or "Insured," are true and supported; and that you own or have permission to use the business names, logos, images, and other materials you submit. You are responsible for providing current license, certification, or registration numbers where required by law.
You give us permission to use, display, reproduce, and make reasonable formatting changes to your submitted materials for your listing and promotion of the Guide during your sponsorship term. You may request updates at any time. We may review, edit, reject, or remove content that we reasonably believe is inaccurate, misleading, unlawful, or inappropriate.
We may publish your listing after you submit it, including before completing our review. Publication does not mean that we have independently verified your claims, license status, insurance, services, or business practices.
Listing content standards. Your listing must not:
- Claim to be the best, the most trusted, number one, or similar, unless you can show the claim is true and current;
- Mention, compare with, or criticize any other company, including other Sponsors;
- Include claims about reviews, ratings, or awards that you can't support;
- Include offers, discounts, or prices that aren't actually available;
- Include profanity, or content that is offensive, discriminatory, or unrelated to your HVAC services.
We may edit or remove content that doesn't meet these standards.
Logo adjustment. If your logo doesn't fit our logo tile, you may ask us to adapt your existing logo to fit. We'll provide one adapted version at no charge within 5 business days. We don't create new logos. If you're not satisfied with the adapted version, you may upload a different logo or choose one of our ready-made logos. Additional design work isn't included.
8. Transfers
If you sell your business, you may request to transfer your sponsorship to the new owner. A transfer requires our written approval. The new owner must agree to these terms and provide any updated listing information we reasonably request.
9. Suspension or removal for cause
We may suspend or remove your listing if we reasonably believe that your business has lost a required license or registration, provided false or misleading information, engaged in illegal or deceptive conduct, or is the subject of repeated, substantiated serious complaints.
When practical, we will notify you of the issue and give you a reasonable opportunity to respond or correct it before removal. We may suspend a listing immediately when we reasonably believe continued publication could create a legal or safety concern. If we remove a listing for a reason attributable to the Sponsor, no refund is due, including under Section 12.
10. No guarantees
We do not guarantee any number of calls, leads, website visits, search engine rankings, or other results. We also do not guarantee that the Guide will be available without interruption. Any reporting we provide is for your information only and is not a promise of results.
11. Refunds
Except as stated in Sections 2, 6 and 12, and below, sponsorship payments are final and non-refundable. If we discontinue the Guide during your paid term, we will refund the unused portion of your payment on a prorated basis.
12. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
If you're not satisfied with your first sponsorship term for any reason, you can request a full refund within 30 days after your term begins, as described in Section 2. To request a refund, contact us through the sponsor contact form or by phone at (386) 232-8299. Refunds are issued to your original payment method and typically appear within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.
When a sponsorship is refunded, the listing is removed, its placement is released, and any Sponsors below it in the same tier move up. This guarantee applies only to a business's first sponsorship term, not to renewals. Requests made after the guarantee period aren't eligible under this section, though the other refunds described in these terms still apply.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims arising from or related to your sponsorship will not exceed the amount you paid us for the current term. Neither party will be liable to the other for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits or business opportunities.
This section does not limit liability that applicable law does not allow us to limit.
14. Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by Florida law. Any lawsuit relating to these terms must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Flagler County, Florida, to the extent permitted by applicable venue law.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will apply to your next renewal and will not change the terms of your current paid term. We will post the updated terms on the Guide's website.

Refund Policy
Sponsorship placements in the Flagler HVAC Guide are limited and reserved for the Sponsor who purchases them. Except for the situations below, sponsorship payments are final and non-refundable.
30-Day Money-Back Guarantee. If you're not satisfied with your first sponsorship term for any reason, you may request a full refund within 30 days after your term begins (for a prelaunch purchase, the public launch date). See Section 12. The guarantee doesn't apply to renewals.
We will issue a full refund if a double-booking cannot be resolved by assigning the later purchase to another available placement in the same tier. If the Guide has not publicly launched within 120 days after a prelaunch purchase, the Sponsor may cancel for a full refund. If we discontinue the Guide during a paid term, we will refund the unused portion of the payment on a prorated basis.
